On-line Registration for CTI Test

Certified Tile Installer (CTI)
This program is a combination of home study along with regionally located written and hands-on testing. The home study materials are an intense review of the industry accepted written standards and methods that allow the installer to review these materials while viewing an on-line PowerPoint presentation. The two-day hands-on testing provides the installer with an opportunity to physically prove his or her ability to properly install ceramic tile while also demonstrating the knowledge of the written materials. The written portion of the test constitutes 25% of the final grade, while the hands-on portion is 75% of the final grade. The benefits to the certified tile installer are nationally-recognized credentials of tile installation abilities, digitally reproducible logo for all forms of advertising and promotion, and recognition on the CTEF website. This program is available to the installer at numerous regional locations throughout the United States, thereby reducing the need for extensive travel and time away from the job. Becoming a Certified Tile Installer is an essential part of a tile professional's toolbox.

NTCA members (current and in good standing): $195.00 each

All installers who pass the CTI exams receive their choice of selected manufacturer's coupons to offset the cost of becoming a Certified Tile Installer (CTI).

Successful installers get to pick $300 worth of the manufacturer's coupons they want from the CTEF list to offset their investment in becoming certified.
