The International Certified Floorcovering
Installers Assocation (CFI) and the World Floor Covering Association
(WFCA) have selected the Ceramic Tile Education Foundation
(CTEF) to conduct their ceramic tile installation courses. After years of concentrating its efforts on educating installers
on better ways to lay carpet, CFI officially opened its doors
for mechanics who provide their customers with quality workmanship
and service in the hard surface categories.
"CFI is launching its hard surfaces education program,"
said Jim Walker, CFI's CEO. "It has been exciting working
with many talented people involved in this category. This organization has excellent
training facilities as well as local area educational programs,"
remarked Walker.
CTEF will also conduct 32 hour, off-site ceramic
tile classes for WFCA's RITE Program in Anaheim, California.
CTEF also provides training for DalTile and Mohawk University.
